Tired Update // Goals for 2023

It’s a new year, and I’m making goals for my personal self and for The Tired Obsidian.

I’m not shooting for any lofty goals for this website. I think a simple goal of just consistent writing would be great. A post a week seems doable.

I can find the time to write, it’s just making sure I have something good to write about. Most of my content revolves around video game impressions, so finding time to actually play games is the real kicker. Just means I need to plan my stuff out a bit more, but not overwhelm myself with it. I think I have a good idea for a pipeline for backlog killing. That will be in a separate post I think!

That’s realistically it for the website. I think there will be more creative posts as well. I have some ideas, just have to flesh them out and make them happen.

Here’s some upcoming content coming to the website:

  • Top Five Games of 2022
  • God of War Raganarok Update
  • High on Life Final Thoughts
  • RNG Backlog Killer

Hopefully within the next two weeks all these are posted, and I can have a clear idea of future content. The backlog is my main thing I want to get rid of and clean up. Lots of physical 360 games, an insane amount of Game Pass games to at least try out, Steam Deck games, and of course those big, chunky games on the PS5.

Personal goals for this year is just getting healthier and more exercising! I’ve been doing pretty well over the last year with this. Cut out soda. Less fast food but a ton, but I still enjoy my cheeseburger or taco every once in a while.

I’m actually writing this post while I’m at the gym lifting weights right now. So yeah, but want to do more and honestly, get jacked as fuck lol.

Anyways, that’s it for my current goals for 2023. Good focus on consistent writing, and consistently getting more shredded or whatever. Hopefully you guys join me on this quest to better myself and my writing! And if you want, you can follow me on Twitter!

What goals do you have for 2023? I’d love to hear them!
