Metroid Prime 4 got delayed today after Nintendo announced that the game was essentially scrapped entirely and has put Retro on the case. Now some things are starting to slip out. Game Informer’s Imran Khan let is go that the Metroid Prime Trilogy for the Switch has already been developed and should have been announced a while ago.

Who knows if this is actually true, but coming from a source like Imran at GI, I would place some safe bets on it.

The Metroid Prime Trilogy was originally on the Wii, but with the Wii’s motion controls I never got around to play the collection at all. I would however be interested in the Switch port. Not sure how much longer we have to wait now that MP4 got a pretty hefty delay.
