The Tired Update 5/24/2020

Man, it has been a while since I posted anything on the blog here. To be honest, I’ve just been having a hard time trying to get my words written down. Most of my posts are just rambling messes anyways, but even when I tried to write how I felt about the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla reveal, I didn’t know how to go about it. It’s been a pain to be honest. That’s why I’m writing up a Tired Update. At the very least it’s just giving any readers something from me. I’m still here!

So what have I been up to lately? Well, the oldest news for the blog is that it’s slowly changing in design. I don’t know a lot about website design, but I kind of figured something out for the time being. I think. if you see this and have suggestions, let me know. I’m open to some ideas!

Other than that I have just been playing games! Most notably a lot more Apex Legends. Season 5 has been rad so far. Loba is the new character and her new abilities are pretty good. Teleportation and the Black Market ultimate is pretty useful.

I tried jumping back into CoD Warzone and man is that game just way too slow paced and boring compared to Apex. That and the numerous HUGE update downloads just don’t make the time worth it.

Maneater is the newest game that I have started enjoying. It’s basically a shark simulator game. Kind of. Just a lot more goofy. I’ll actually write up a small impressions piece when I get deeper into the game, but so far it’s been a lot of fun!

The last game I have been playing has been Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Yeah, I beat this game months ago, I know, but I never played the DLC, and I actually really like the lore stuff for the AC franchise, so I figured now was the time to dig in.

I totally forgot how to play the game. All these RPG abilities, dodging, blocking, all that. The map is still overwhelmingly huge, but my main focus was just that DLC story stuff. I’m still a little over leveled, so I got through the first chapter for the Legacy DLC fairly easily. I know there’s a bunch more to do though. I keep wanting to get ever check mark again. I really need to tone that down or I’ll burn out on the game again.

The final bit to this post is going to be me talking about streaming! I recently just got a pretty powerful gaming PC. I don’t really plan on playing PC games all that much if I’m being entirely honest, but I wanted a more powerful computer to stream my console games and to also record and edit videos. I will start streaming more regularly during the week here soon. I’m pretty stoked on it honestly. I will put up a schedule here soon, but in the mean time, go follow my Twitch!

Thanks for reading this everyone! I know it has been a little while since you’ve heard from me, but hopefully I can start getting back into writing semi regular posts, even if they’re just like this.
