Rage 2 Throwing Shade at Far Cry

Seen this on Twitter today. Rage 2’s official Twitter tweeted out a picture poking fun at the similarities of their upcoming game and the newest Far Cry installment, New Dawn.

The Far Cry: New Dawn account tweeted back talking about how similar their trailers are, with Rage 2 ending the conversation with the old double Spider-Man meme.

I personally think this is all fun in games, considering both of these games have been getting worked on for a little while now. I would say Rage 2 has probably been in development longer since New Dawn is using the same map and assets as Far Cry 5.

I wouldn’t read too much into this. 👀

Far Cry New Dawn is releasing on February 15th, 2019 while Rage 2 will drop a few months later on May 4th, 2019.
